I got a HD-DVD for xmas and have had a chance to watch a few movies in HD, and wow. I Like!
So far I have:
Transformers
Harry Potter OoTP
King Kong
Batman Begins
Serenity (the firefly movie)
Gotta say of all of them, King Kong, Batman Begins, and Serenity shine the most. Some amazing visuals, especially the wide angle shots. The sound is much better as well, with deeper bass, and their seems to be less sybalance (a high pitched S sound from speakers).
Netflix is my friend though, I've got 300, Apollo 13, and TMNT on the way in HD-DVD. I figure in a few months I'll pick up a PS3 to take advantage of all the HD titles.
Most notably the Pixar movies, Cars looks absolutely stunning in HD.
