Cloverfield

Anybody else see it?

(may contain spoilers)

Started out slow. The first 15-20 minutes were background info, to be expected, but boring nonetheless.

After that, it picked up a bit.
Once it did get going, it started to remind me of a few rides I rode in FL, mainly the Earthquake ride and the King Kong ride, both at Universal Studios I think.....
Would have been great had there been moving seats, climate control, breezes, etc.

Just as quickly as it picked up, it stopped. Literally. It says that it runs an hour and twenty five, but feels like just short of an hour.

Everybody in the theater was literally saying out loud "Was that it?" "Are you f'in serious?" "Ponch go grab the camera, we're making the sequel RIGHT NOW!" Pretty sucky ending if you ask me (if you've seen it, you'll understand).

Don't bother waiting through the 15 minute credits either, nothing in them AT ALL which ticked me and others off also.

I'd give it....a D.
Was kind of cool but confusing in the way it was filmed (first person)...

And our other favorite quote heard outloud in the theater "Camera still works!" "Great battery life I guess" and "It just fell from a helicopter, how the FCUK is it still working??!!"

Ahhh. Very Nice.

That thing was a little creepy. alot of people said they didn't like the movie. I thought it was original. the style of filming made some ppl dizzy. no big actors. I give it a B
