Worth Getting?

Im just hoping I can find a back-plate for it. I dont want no EZ start or Pullstart bullcrap to deal with. I wonder if an 18TZ backplate would fit, if I cut the pin off the crank..hrmmm...

I dont know if anyone has experience but I want to try an OS engine because of reliability.

Okay, for all those interested.

I got a reply from OS Engines, I email them about the bump-start. This is what I was told.

"Thanks for your inquiry.
We're sorry, but there is no standard cover plate version of the .21 TM. However, there is no particular reason why you cannot start one of these engines with a bump starter. If you still prefer to have a standard cover plate, you could replace the rear adapter with:

OSMG4052 21917000 COVER PLATE .18TZ

However, you will also have to grind down the starter pin on the crankshaft. Any damage to the engine that caused as a result of this modification will not be covered by the warranty."

So there you have it. I figured the 18TZ plate would fit being as its like the same block for all 3 engines. I may begin looking into this for the outdoor season.
