Os 21vg

I know you gotta shim the VG with a Vspec head, do you gotta shim it for 30% out of the box, it didnt come with a shim so I assumed it was okay...Input?

I'm getting a new cooling head for this thing, I get it ripping last night with good smoke and it ends up at like 290.

Also Switched from an OS8 to an MC9 and it seems to run a little better. Opinions? (Was looking around, turns out MC9 isnt the right plug...Just one I had in my box)

I'm just starting to get more used to engine stuff, so I still ask for opinions anyway.

you Need a cooling head for that thing. at 270 I can still smell a little raw nitro. It was insane at like 290 but that's a little hot. It's got the power just gotta LEAN THE #$!$#$ out! 2 gallons and mine still has excellent pinch, just get a Vspec head or a King-Headz head or something. With the vspec you get the turbo button so you gotta add 2 copper shims to the aluminium gasket to set it for 30%. Vspec carb helps to i've heard, I just installed my Cooling head last night,we'll see how much cooler it gets it tonight when I go to the track.

Hehe, There was a guy with an RB in his Mugen, and my little 150buck OS was smoking his ass ALL over the place.

I'd take it all from you, for a reasonable price, It won't ever run again in my hands. it would be getting stripped for parts.

I might also just relpace the head button since I already got a cooling head.

however, the one I have went in tight, and when i tried to pull it out, it just pulls out the sleeve. heating it pretty hot with a heat gun should loosen it enough to be able to get it out, correct

I've never really seen a bad RB. Sometimes they sound like they are running like crap, but they don't show it on the track.
