mufflers dont have bearings!
They have belts. Duh!

I just loved that a nice, clean bearing came out of that nasty looking muffler.
BTW, does VW sell "muffler bearings"? Could have sworn I read somewhere they call the flexible coupler between the parts mounted directly to the engine and the rest of the exhaust or the gasket that fits in there a muffler bearing....

Believe it or not, the place I got the pic from was a thread on a Jeep forum where a guy started the thread wanting to put a 1-2" body lift on his '99 Cherokee........which is unibody, to prevent tire rubbing.
