I figured I'd post after reading part of the thread. Haha
I definitely miss RC, no matter how much time or money it ate up. Most of the people were pretty cool to hang out with and the entertainment was priceless. I'll definitely get back in at some point. I dedicated more time and money to racing my bikes and traveling and something had to go. I'm getting to the point now where I am actually saving money again. I want to get a cheap motorcycle at some point and then I can see an RC impulse buy in the future.
I completely missed any sort of a fall bash that may or may not have happened. I definitely would have tried to come out, and may have even picked up a cheap RC to bash. I just don't check the site near as often as I used to since it's so dead. Believe me, I'd like to see it make a comeback to the old days. We all predicted this when the bashing got out of hand and the extreme moderating soon followed. It kind of had to happen it seemed, but I'm sure we wish now that it wouldn't have.
That said, Mike, you're still a flaming douche. Haha

the extreme moderating only lasted a week or so and the board was still flourishing after that. The board died because everyone quit racing and bashing.

I heard he does something with a big hole in the ground...and he sold old construction equipment, now charges companys to put dirt in the hole? I think thats what I heard...but whatever pays the bills...super nice guy either way. Lol

i thought he sold the hole. i know he was filling a hole in the groundone dumptruck at atime but was getting like 200 trucks a day. all you need to do is but a old quarry for a few million and fill it up. then you can be a baller like domino

ya he owned the land reclamation business or whatever on joliet rd just before laraway and people paid to dump there, now he sold it and is pretty much set for life
