hey guys I need to know what CAN be done to my slash and still be legal. Just wondering battery limits, shock oils? etc etc. Like, can I do away with this stupid servo saver? Can I change up the shock clips? change out battery connectors? I can't see running tamiya or the new traxxas clips is limited to what? venom batts? Thanks

Yes I'm racing on Wed. and Saturday. We get 7 or so on Weds. we run the slash inside and nitro outside. We laugh our a$$ off. Land rush starts. 12 lap Q's and 14 lap main. Saturday we had 12 and ran the track backwards. just too much fun. See you soon. New track this week.

Ponch Wrote:Get the dubro servo saver (i believe that's who makes it) for the T-maxx. Same as stock but more durable.
hey, if Ponch endorses a product as "durable" you can sure bet on it.. after all, he's the crash-meister

What size pinion do you use on the Slash for racing at LH? I already put 100wt shock oil in and need to know what else needs to be done. Any help is appreciated. Thanks dudes.

Roc and Dent .. Would be good seeing you guys again.
Yes you can change diff greese. 30,000 is what I have. You can change pinion and spur. You can change shock oil. battery plug may be changed.
Box stock... You can not change tires, speed control, servo, motor. No after market arms, shock towers, shocks or shock springs, No upgrade parts.
The battery is a 3800 stick pack or less. no side by side packs. No match packs at all. we have packs for 26 dollars. Tenergy packs I think.
We just sold another slash last night so this class grows each week.

Bernie,
I am jumping in with Roscoe and Dent on this venture. Seems to be a great way for me to get back into the hobby without spending 4 nights a week preping for a race.
So these race wednesday and sat nights?
