So what the heck is a Canuck anyway?

The Random House Dictionary notes that: "The term Canuck is first recorded about 1835 as an Americanism, originally referring specifically to a French Canadian. This was probably the original meaning, though in Canada and other countries, "Canuck" refers to a Canadian."
i think is means "team going home empty handed"
10/8/1871- the great Chicago fire. Approximately 250 people were killed in the fire; 98,500 people were left homeless; 17,450 buildings were destroyed along with the original Emancipation Proclamation.

Funny thing about Canuck originally meaning a "French Canadian", is the French Canadians are generally in the Montreal area (ever notice, the only Canadian team that they play the Canadian Anthem in French is Montreal). Yet the Montreal team is just the "Canadians" They aren't quite Empty handed... They did beat the Blues...
I'll keep my God, my freedom, my guns, and my money. You can keep "THE CHANGE."
