What are some good winter rc heli flying tips?

Winter is really a tough time for RC heli's owners. Flying rc heli in winter require more attention on safety and care. Learning the proper way will save lots of money in damage parts. Wondering what few things we need to do differently to get our rc heli ready for flying in the winter.

Any tips are advice will be greatly appreciated.

I don't fly mine in the winter, with the cold, everythign is so brittle even a good landing seems to snap landing gear. I've been achin' to fly, but haven't.
