hello fellas,
i've played with electric r/c's for a few years; more than a few actually.
I had 2 tamiya tl01s then i gave one to my bro.
i've always wanted to get into nitros. i thought i'd borrow my friend's every now and then. well, now i kinda got thrusted into it when another friend gave me his "busted" nitro car. it got driven into a 1:1 car and he thought it was beyond fixing. he had it sitting around since then. then said i could have it if i could get it running. i changed out the fuel and glow plug and it's running.
anyhow, i messed around with the high and low speed needles. now i don't know if it's running rich, lean or stoich. i know if there's no smoke coming out the muffler it's running too lean and could break the engine. how do i know if the engine is running stoich?
