are they different from manuf. to manuf. or are they consistant? Can you take a pipe/header combo off a buggy and attach it to a different manuf. motor and setup? I want the JP-1 pipe from OFNA and I will put in on my WASP .21SB, will it work.

yeah but the pipe comes with a header on it, if it does not physically fit then I will need a different header or I guess I could just use the stock header, but I would like to use the whole set.

I've used and OFNA pipe/header on a OPS .21, Hyper .21 and an RB S-7 without any problems.
I'm currently running an RB motor with OFNA pipe header on my buggy.
And Werks .26 w/ RB pipe header on my maxx.
I didnt have to modify anything to get them to match up.
Hope this helps.

with the maxx drop in Wasp motor you may have problems with the .21 pipes mounting up... it is set up to except the stock 2.5 header

Yup Tex is right, I thought you had a BB chassis. All the drop-in maxx motors I've seen are designed to use the stock header, except for the Fantom .18 drop-in. That motor uses a spring set-up.
