I had no idea what the difference was so I'm glad Six chimmed in! All I know is the prospec is supposed to be way better in the "hop-up" dept. And as Roc said, it's way more expensive

yeah but the $300 aditional cost of the Prospec is worth it because if you add up the cost to buy all the Prospec Upgrades to mod a standard X5 I bet it could cost way more than $300.

I can bet you that the additional $300 won't help a guy like me get into the A-Main in a Pro-Series race! LOL!!!

Seriously though, I'm learning quickly that one needs to learn to drive smoothly and consistently first to be fast. I got tired of buying A-arms (and Bernie teasing me) so I've been focusing on driving and not having the fastest truck out there.

I'm sure these buggies are awesome, but only the individual can decide if it's truly necessary for that item to move them to the next level. For most of us, I hate to say, I doubt it. Just food for thought.

I remember soooo many wise men saying things like, "It's not the arrows it's the indian" and "The tools don't make the craftsman". At some point better equipment make the job easier, but basic fundamentals are required, as you point out. Someone else also sais here "Slow is fast". yep, sometimes.
got paint?
