Whats the Diffrence

Between the RTR 8ieght & The kit,:confused:
Trying to decide which one would be better for me to start with.

well one is a kit and one comes RTR.........theyre the same buggy only the RTR comes with a roto start engine a roto start, spektrum dx2 radio

I think there are some other differences though-look thru the pics, and look at the shock towers.

the rtr will have less bling and hopups. I am not sure on specifics wiht the 8, but usually the kit is more of a pro version. Beefier shock towers, aluminum center braces etc. The extra hop ups etc is there in exchange for an engine and crappy radio system.

Get the kit, learn the vehicle by building it, and then you can put in your own elctronics and engine... Best way to do it IMHO

are you sure?? or just guessing, cause i could have sworn I read that in the magazine they are the same onlt they have the mtotr and crap

springs are different too Rocco. Remember we looked at finals at the display. Didnt the guy say the chassis is stamped on the RTR and milled on the kit too ? I know the shock caps, towers and springs were different. But theres something else that was different about the 2.

Well if they are the same . it would make sense to go with the RTR.
$50.00 more and you get motor pipe servo's and radio

well i guess they arent the same from what the guys above said, but yeah maybe buy the RTR and sell the radio and motor and servos and make osme extra $$ and use that $$ for upgrades or w/e

Ehh. Kinda happy with how my current buggy is running, having some second thoughts but still excited! Haven't seen it for a week or two though.

Went with the rtr. Started braking it in saturday at the track.

Don't ever go that route if there is already a upgraded kit version available. It ends up costing you more money and hassle to sell stuff just to re-buy stuff.
