New guy needs some advice

I am considering getting back into the r/c hobby and have a few questions. First off I am wondering if there is a stock or modified 2wd electric buggy class? And if so what would be the best most competitive car to buy?

I think there is a stock and modified class, but more show for mod (I think).

Competetive is Associated B4 FT (factory team edition) or Team Losi XXX-Cr.

zocco broccoli i can handle electric questions. lol
if you are talking about lesiure hours, the standard classes are generally 2wd mod and 19turn truck. no one seems to run stock at leisure. 4wd seems to be making a comeback. there has been some 19t buggy in the past but im not sure on this season. 19 truck is by far more popular.
quality rigs would be b4,t4, or the xxxcr and xxxtmf2 for 2wd and truck.
