1st of all i dont like used because alot can be wrong with it. 2nd of all i dont need like a hardcore basher, just do drive in like fields and stuff like that maybe a ramp or something. I just want a brand new rtr because it has everything i need, and i dont want to spend like $300 on a roller, then have to buy at least a $150 engine, then a whole radio system, then startign methed, then batteries and stuff like that, id rather just get one out of the box and treat it good like take it apart and clean it alot, so it will stay pretty good and durable. and mike i would get the ttr but ive never really heard of ttr since i got on this site. I know its good and you do good with it but ive heard alot of talk about the jammin and heard good stuff about them too.

but i just want cheap fun, no racing competitively, so i think ttr rtr or jammin rtr one of those.

Make up my mind...1st, ive never seen anyone say that they might race just NOT competitively. I have seen people try to do it cheaply but the competitive nature in us makes us by stuff to make that cheap car better, Me included. Like your dirtbike, youll just want the best weather your racing or bashing so bight the bullet and save for some good stuf. 2nd, there is no better than Mugen. Nuf said....

I love my CRT Pro as a basher. The upgrades I bought for it, I bought becuase I WANTED them, not because I NEEDED them.

The truck is very durable out of the box.

If you end up buying the CRT RTR, send me a PM and I can sell you some pro kit parts I have. (CNC 7075 chassis, front and rear braces, z brace, some other stuff).

All of those listed are pretty durable. I have seen the CRT's go through hell and back as bashers. The Hot Bodies Lightning Stadium Pro's (lsp) are pretty damn tough too. The most important thing you need to consider is parts support. Does your LHS carry an ample supply of parts or will you have to order parts everytime you break? TTR parts are hard to come by sometimes, as are Mugens. LSP and CRT parts are readily available and most good LHS's will have commonly broken parts in stock when you need them. JMHO

If you want new, A-main has the LSP-R kit pre-assembled for 299.00. Add motor servos and remote. Thats the best price I have seen since Ultimate Hobbies sold out of them. I think they even have the TTR ST-1 rtr for 369.00 Great price if you can get parts. I have met a few people who are very happy with them. The CRT rtr runs about $515.00.

Good Luck!

oh sorry i guess i didint send one. Well guys what do you think of the jammin as a racer? because i think im gonna screw the whole dirtbike idea until i get a real car. But i can still have a rc for that time because theyre easy to sell. So what do you guys recommend for truggy racing? like engines? servos? controllers? stuff like that because i am still new to truggy.

If you want to Race truggys get a Mugen MBX5T Prospec Kit. the Ninja .21 Works Good in there, JP3. Futaba Servos 9351 I think?

That's the hot Truggy Right now and its proven, I've driven one and I was sold...I gotta try and see if I can sell what I have so I can afford the Prospec Kit. If I can't sell it I'll just get the MBX5T regular kit.
