DD Money race!!!
i cant remember the last time i saw somebody in this group use 40's. I think it was last winter in leisure.

And panther pythons are similar to 40's, aren't they? Widthwise....
Reply
Pythons are similar to standards.

Panthers have alot more sidewall than 40's... Makes them a better all around tire if you ask me

40's are too big and heavy IMO plus they take away turn in. On a rough rutted track they are good because of a larger footprint. The only thing I like about the 40's bow ties is the smaller side wall, wish they made the max size with that small sidewall

I used to use 40 series with the savage. Day and night difference from max series on that truck.

40's are good for show trucks and bashing, that's about it.

Standard size for racing

oh, and I'll be there rain or shine on Sunday also.

Are alot of people racing 23mm wheels and why? is it just for the bigger trucks?

The hex is supposed to be more durable.... The 23mm adaptars are tough on axles... But i like the look and havent had too many axle problems.... ofcourse when a 10 lb LSP lands on your lsp somthings gotta give :p: Big Grin  :moon:
