Im having the same problem, the v-spec is running about 240 and feels fine, could be a little quicker off the bottom but im goin through plugs like every practice night. Do you think i should go back to stock and try from there?

Did you add the extra headshim that was in the box when you got it? That helped mine when I was blowing plugs (Mike Lyday told me to do it)

yeah if its stretched its increasing your compression ratio. causeing some kind of slight misfiring toasting the plug? right? lol

Jdub-
when the rod stretches the head of the piston can get that much closer to the button, increasing compression which makes the plug go bye bye!

The rod wasant stretched, but im sure it was just too lean. Another question tho, has anyone ran a mugen buggy with a v-spec in it? Because my flywheel has always been fine until today, i went to put the flywheel back onto the engine and it was like rubbing the engine case? Anyone know whats wrong?

yeah,,, if your running the mugen clutch you need to use the spacers

I said that. Longer Rod, high compression ratio (or higher compression)
