$60 bucks is a little pricey for a screw kit. I personally would go with 12.9 grade steel screws. Heavier, but much stronger and cheaper.

ti screws are not good for rc's. They tend to snap really easy and end up costing you a lot in parts because of it. Look for a good 12.9grade screw kit. Best screws ever.

E-mail Tony, he recently got his hands on SAE screws and put together some XXX-NT kits along with some AE RC10GT kits. I'm sure he'll help you out. Great guy to do business with.

On the tools
I got the Inegey ones for $30 and I am pretty happy with them.

I am actually wanting a different set but I dunno where to find them.
It has an OCTOGON shape with WIHO in it and they are made in Germany.
Also it has on it CV. MOLYBDAN with two dots above the A.
It is Black handel with a RED swivel end cap.
I can say worth every penny and very durable, I expect that these will cost.

Any one know who makes these and where to get them.

I know I don't carry much cred on this site, but RC Screwz (sic) makes a great stainless kit for $25-. I was so impressed by the quality I ordered two for my Revo. Sorry I don't have a link, but a simple web search will find 'em easy. Later - DaveB

When mags and websites do a 'REVIEW' that means the contributing company (rcscrewz) gave a bunch of screw kits to them for a "good" review.....

Only screw kits worth a dang in the RC market is Tony's Screws IMO

Dave, Hopefully you didn't take Tex's post the wrong way. He wasn't implying that you didn't know anything. He does make a VERY valid point. One of the Forums I was on before had a few sponsers. If someone posted up anything negative about ANY of the products their sponsers make/distribute, the post would get locked and deleted, and the user would get warning points. The best way to get the real scoop on a product, is to ask about it in a non-biased situation.

Perfect example, Whens the last time you saw a Magazine give less than an 8 review on any products? Both RCCA and XRC gave the Losi LST a 10 on Durability, but if you talk to anyone who has/had one, they will tell you the LST had quite a lot of problems with durability.

The only screws that should be on the market are Tony's Screws. Nothing can compare for strength. Its all hex to you only ever need 3 sizes (2.5, 2.0, 1.5). My brand new truggy is torn apart waiting the arrival of Tony's Screws. He even gives you plenty of extra for each size. Nothing can compare to them. And the price is averaging like 25 bucks for a full kit.
