WANTED!! Clutch
#1
It has been reccomended to me that I go with an 1/8th scale clutch instead of messing around with others. Let me know what you have and exactly how CHEAP I can get it for. LoL Thanks so much... (This will be going on th OS .21 VZ-B for those of you who didn't know.)

I will run to Al's to get the conversion, the bearings (What size do I need??) and the 3 shoe flywheel... any specific one???

I usually get the ofna 3 shoe flywheels (they make an OS specific one) they sit a bit further back to give you more clearance.

bearings are 5x10's, I've been running the "budget" bocas ($1 a piece) for about 3 gallons/5 months. Same set still work perfect

make sure to get the traxxas BB kit (there are a few to choose from) because it comes with the throttle bellcrank standoff you need. We will custom make your linkage at my house.

Hey I would get the OFNA clutch shim kit to.

I did this on mine and it helps.
There are a few tiny little washers in there and they are thin.
Put the ones that are closest to the flywheel pins size on before the shoes.
This will keep the shoes from dragging on the flywheel.

Keeps the friction from the shoes wearing on the flywheel leaving it to move more freely.

this was a tip from some place I can't remember.

nope, no need for the starter box or dremel, although some sanding drums and cut off wheels would be good to have. That's what we'll use to trim out the chassis (if you plan on staying over a few hours)
