Has anyone else had probs with the 4.6 motor in the Hellfire besides John? Maybe people are talking on truggyracers?
Just sucks that after a half gallon it grenaded a bearing and tore the whole motor up.
Mich, how much gas have you put through yours so far?

I called up HPI. Mine is on it's way back to them for replacement. They were super nice on the phone. Excellent customer service IMO.
The hellfire is the HO version, which I guess its different than the one they put in the savage. Or so I hear.

Dont know about the HP version, but my K4.6 is very reliable at a gallon+ so far.

Yes, they'll warranty it. Rear bearings shouldn't blow out that fast.
