So I'm outside breaking in the new motor for my hellfire and I must say, so far this is the easiest motor I've had to break in yet! Usually I always have issues with idling with a fresh motor, but not with this one! 1 tank down, a few more to go . I got the motor wrapped up like crazy so it gets up to proper temp in this cold ass weather.

Novas are the shit...The only problem I had breaking in the .12 was getting the starter box to turn that sucka. Great motors. If your is anything like mine, no needle turning from factory to get them going (unlike any other motor ive used) and after some time (like 15-20 tanks) they start to come alive and want to be leaned a tad.

After 5 1/2 tanks of break in, I started to tune for perfomance . I got about a 1/2 tank in and it started snowing like crazy outside .
Looks like I'll be doing the race tune at the track tomorrow.

5 1/2 whole tanks?? Wow! John tune it tomorrow in the conditions it will be racing cuz as soon as you get it to where you want it today your just gonna end up changin it tomorrow
Love that lil motor dont cha!!!! its amazing! I wish they wouldnt of discontinued it

Yep 5 1/2 tanks lol. It was the ebmod method of breakin which was stickered in the box. Run it, make sure temps are up where they need to be and just fill it up when it runs out. No stopping. 2 tanks of no more than 1/2 throttle, 2 tanks of no more than 3/4 throttle, 1 tank (which I cut a little short) with some full throttle burst. Tank 6, race tune.
