I do also, I rarely ever take the engine off the mounts.

Ive used lock washers before, but now I just use loctite. They both work fine for the screws that hold the engine to the mount.
As for the screws that hold the mount to the chassis, they are counter sunk, so you cant used lock washers, you have to use loctite Big Grin

That depends on the truck. On the revo its a cap head 3mm screw. Only locking washers work there. I always loctite and washer those screws tho. I dont want that mount moving a hair.

I havent used Loctite on engine mounts for the longest time. Motor to mount or mount to chassis. That goes for the XB8, Revo, and LSP.

I use it on the engine to mount ones but those aren't the ones that came loose. Since I don't have locking washers (and personally just like loctite more) that will go on the ones to the chassis. Those loosened up and the motor slid. Better now than race day...

And where can I run a throttle return spring to?? I looked but couldn't really find a good spot.

Get a small thick rubberband. Run it around the carb neck and the throttle ball end

Hmmm... Didn't think of that. I was anxious to run and I'm sure didn't look everything over. If I don't find a spot I will probably go this route...

Carlton of the pro series tells ya to use one if he techs your truck and dont have a spring... I like the rubberbands better
