Cap Head vs. Button Head Screws
#1
I do have a Tony's Screws kit on my buggy. It seems that they chose to use button head screws more than cap heads. I am having a problem with the button head screws stripping out. I am not over tightening them and I do have Hudy hex drivers. I don't have this problem with the cap head screws though.

Anyone else have this problem?

the button heads look like ( on its side right? If thats what ur talking about, they are not as deep as the cap heads, which means u gotta get all the dirt and shit outa them before u try and put a wrench in there

Yeah.

They are mostly the ones on the radio tray and the upper plate. There really wasn't any dirt in there.

cap heads are the bigger screws heads that take the 2.5mm wrench. I think you might be mixing up "button" and "cap" head. Tony uses all the "cap" head screws he can because of the bigger 2.5mm opening and they are a more durable screw.
How worn down are your Hudy drivers, one of my 2.5's is blown out and will strip screws (the other sizes work because they are not worn down).
