1/12 scale 4wd class
#1
I know most of you have seen the mini 1/12 crt comming out. Just wondering if any of you have thought about getting one. It looks like it would be a fun class to race indoors at LH.

I would consider getting one if enough people got them to support a class at lh. Or do you think they could be run with the 1/10 scale trucks. I know they are smaller, but same engines.

Maybe if enough are interested we can get a group buy going?

George,

Do you think they would really consider running 2wd GT and 4wd mini-truggy together? It seems the 4wd truck would have the advantages.

As for group buy/discount, I wouldn't imagine any deals will be had on this because the hype has been building, and they are releasing it right before Christmas, and we know that the Santa Effect causes people with credit cards to become temporarily insane.

Some of the members know some of the Hobby dealers pretty well, maybe they can feel out one of them to see if a group discount is possible? Any wholesale dealers around here???

I am sure if I went to some of the dealers I go to and said, I want 10 trucks, what can you do for me he would give a discount.

As far as racing the same class I have no idea, but I would hate for somebody not to be able to race due to the fact of not having a class. This truck is also geared towards an entry level racer, so it would be silly not to let them race.

Also I believe they have raced some of the 4wd trucks (Hpi and traxxas) with 2wd at club races. Not saying they would do this at major events. It woudl also help fill the 1/10th class also.

Like i said I was just shooting out a feeler and asking quesitons.

A lot will depend on what Ofna does on the pricing when it is released. As a RTR it will have to be close to a low end MT (about $400) wouldn't you guess?

How much does Xray get for their mini N18T? $300?

taken from the grid from a hobby shop owner..

I think I read that it is the .5 CRT Pro, so i bet it is a kit first.
My guess is $259(kit) $279(RTR). Just a guess

$279 rtr would make it priced right in there against a new RC10GT2.

Might have to start selling my extra tires and socking it away for one!

I'd be interested in doing this as long as it's something where you leave the truck bone stock except for maybe different radio grear
