If you took the start of the corner wide and then cut in to take a tighter line on the backside of the corner and I 'plow' into you,then that is more my fault which I try not to do. A racer can tell when a car is doing that. And I have used the brakes manytimes to keep myself from doing that.
But there have been times when I have been to far in to stop it from happening. Then it turns to that guy who took it wide in the first place. If I have already commited and I am well into the corner or inside him when he starts to cut in. Then he needs to make that split second thought and decide to stay wide,stay on that line he was going to take and hit me. Or to just stop and let me go. But he left the door open. A split second here or there can change how that whole thing ends up.
Am I correct with that?
