I don't have pics either...but I received my first off road r/c in 1998 for Christmas. It was a Kyosho ATV Quad Rider. I thought it was the coolest thing because it was really scale compared to the quads I raced when I raced quad motocross. Solid axle with a single swing-arm, mono-shock, chain drive...yeah baby. There was even a molded rider that looked pretty good.
It handled like poop however, and all the weight of the rider on the quad made it a top heavy beast that would either endo or loop out over any size jump. It powerslided pretty well however, and I never knew it handled bad back then because I had never driven any other 10th scale truck, buggy, or anything.
Then in 2003 my buddy took me to a local race and let me drive his 8th Scale Mugen MBX4 That's all it took
I still have it...the Kyosho Quad that is.
