I'm guessing you have the 8ight RTR?
With the steering epa, make sure that with that 125 setting, it isn't overworking your servo. Mine around 115 and 125, left/right.
8ights don't need much brake, at least on this layout, I've found. I only use mine once, that's on the left turn just before the staggered triples.
I use Team Associated blue thread lock. Seems to work well. I just turn my hex driver and it comes loose with some force, lol. Good drivers are key, I picked up a set of Dynamite US drivers today, one 3 pack for $20, one single for $6 (I think) and that covers the whole buggy.
