First: Bubbacola, I think a "stock" class would be great for just about anything on-road, I'd show up. But thirdgen is right, you can't run the kyosho engines I've have 2 and they both were garbage...I did everything in my power to make them run and I did, But in the long run they where just to problematic. IGT good car though, I'd buy one and run a "stock" class. The only thing that has to happen is a engine class would have to be set along with ONE kind of tire, and the only thing allowable would be setup-up. I raced a "stock" class for 1/10th scale electric and that included a 27 turn motor, or 13.5 brushless (Novak). any speed control, #27 rubber tires, and body wing had to be below roof of car with a ride height of no less then 5mm. That is about as easy as it came and it costs much more to set-up a electric to race then a rtr nitro. If you ran a IGT style class with .21 engine, on a medium compound tire, stock body with around a dogbones level right height. That would be pretty cheap. 400 for the car 100-150 for the engine. Get leisure hours to give deals on IGT's for about 350 "ish" (ultimate hobbies has them for 329 shipped) with a .21 deal and your right around 400 with new racers at the track. which brings me to point 2.
Second: I almost refuse to go to leisure hours, because of people like czech. I just about gave up nitro off-road because I can go to zero gravity (if that even exists anymore) and get treated better then some of the kids at leisure treat people. Look, I started this when I was 12, I'm 27 now. I've forgotten more sh** then czech has learned yet, or ponch. I was helping my uncle organize races at 12 (thats how I got into rc my uncle opened a carpet track by my house). Given, I did give up rc for a while, because at 18 I was chasing other things... So when I came back alot of things had changed, like touring cars came out, I raced a rc10L and a rc10T. I come back and theres a T4...T4? what happened to 2..3... Buggies are bigger and truggies now exist. But theres nothing that is that complicated. Which bring me to point 3.
Third: I have seen czech in person and he is a quiet kid when he's by himself, the internet brings out the man in people. I'm 100% positive that his ass wouldn't say any of the sh** that comes out here. I've heard stories of this guy f***ing up peoples practices because he didn't like something they did. If it was me and he did half the sh** that I've heard he's done to others, his buggy would get the bottom of my boot. Then the steel toe part, when I kick the sh** in that trash can. Now czech we all realize you race and ponch we realize you do to, and thats nice... But that doesn't make you an expert. Actually haven't you been hittin up B main all this year. Pretty sad from someone with so much forgotten experience, maybe you forgot how to drive. And speaking of that ask any on-road guy and he'll tell you that car set-up is half the battle. If you can't setup, the Best driver would have a hard time against intermediate drivers with a alright set-up. And time slips prove it.
So I guess all I'm saying is a stock on-road would be cool, leisure needs to tell the kids to shut up, and czech has a pair of internet balls, which I guess makes him cool.
