many people might not like to run a spec class because then they can't blame their equipment when they can't win or get better over time. A spec class really does sort out who is a good tuner/racer.
I'm not a great racer in any of the types of vehicles we race with but I do enjoy having close to the same equipment as the other racers and getting better over time, or every now and then having an episode when I'm in the zone and doing pretty well for the day of racing. Racing a spec class would make that even more fun.
right now my favorite race classes are:
Electric 19 turn off road truck
Electric Stock Rubber Sedan
Sportwerks Recoil
18th scale On Road
