see this is how it works. when you add both of the voice coils the resistance goes down. it would make a 1 ohm load. but the amp is only good at 2 ohm. so it would be toast. for that to work you would want either a single 2 ohm sub with a single 2 ohm amp or dual 2 ohm amps on a dual voice coil sub. i love electric class.

Ok...So if I want to use that amp, I just gotta find a sub with a single 2 ohm setup...K, thanks John.
