ya the first time i met all these guys was like a in march and there was snow all over the ground and a giant lake in the grass part. I thought that was ice and actually drove my t-maxx through that and quickly found out that it was really water lol. Needless to say my engine stayed revved up for a good 2 minutes and it slowly crawled out of the water that was as high as my tires lol. It was only like 30 degrees out that day and there was no way i was gonna get my truck out untill the water left lol. And the building next to the forest preserve were being remodelled so it was nothing but mud and rocks over there. Needless to say all my electronics got fried that day and my whole truck was just a mud ball literally. It was a very awesome day with these guys.

Yeah, that was a great day! had just broken in my Savage and ripped all over that slush soaked field. What a blast! Later, I was doing high speed runs in the street and hit a fence pole! Lost a lower a arm and a dogbone LOL! I remember being so bummed, cause I only had the thing for a month. Lots of fun though. I really look forward to this event. It has certainly been too long for me.

I'll have to travel out there before then to see exactly where it is. What should I bring besides my RC (canopy, chairs, table, food?)
This is how mapquest is telling me to go;

if you ride out there before hand it will kind of be a waste. You'll be able to find it no problem on the day of. Plus having all our cars parked (where we actually bash) will give you a better idea on where we actually bash in the park

rcdad, based on traffic conditions, it might be best to come in on 294, then get off on 55 north. You'll avoid the chicago traffic by going around the city instead of directly through it.

I was thinking of that but the 294 is almost just as bad plus you pay the tolls. If you could jump off the 90 somewhere around Englewood and cut across it would really be nice.

Well using Google Maps nifty Hybrid map capture I made a nice map and added more details on the exact location of the spot so when people get near 40th it will be easier to find the spot!

There used ot be another satelite view I had of the spot but it had no street names. the google maps automatically puts the satelite view with the street names right on it!

Hey guys... I'm new here and may try coming out to the bash. I went to the Berwyn bash site a couple weeks ago and was dissappointed that it looked nothing like the video. I do however still see it being a ton of fun with a bunch of guys. I have a Storm Buggy right now with a Picco .26 so that's probably what I would be bringing. My only question is... How do you guys regulate chips when a bunch of you get together??

We had a frequency board w/ clips at the last one. It was easy to keep track of everything.
