found out last week that this spring im going to be a father. im so exited!!

Congrats Fire,
It is exciting, my wife is 18weeks with our first. Wait to you see the first ultrasound and hear the heartbeat, it really sink in then.
Also my wife just started to show and its another confirmation that she is with child. It truely is an exciting time.
Snakebite is expecting also, in a few years we will have to have a class of 2006 tike race....

Hell yeah.........My wife is 29 weeks and showing big time !!!!
It's cool at night. The kid seems to love moving around when I talk to him. Even gives me a kick sometimes. Definetly exciting times are on the way for the both of you guys.

I lose my hobby room to the baby.

I've been evicted to the garage already dude.
Spare bedroom becomes the baby's room.
I actually did all the research on strollers, cribs, baby bottles etc etc. I had a good time looking at that stuff.
amazon has good customer reviews on the stuff. I orginally picked out this bad-ass stroller. Then I read the reviews on it and found out it would be too heavy and hard to collapse for the wife.
Gotta do the research !!!!!!!!

Yes I was just checking amazon today thru babies R Us. Looking at all the strollers with car seat, car seat alone then a stroller. We are still up in the air, the wife and I both agrees on this FP ocean themed swing though, looks cool and has gotten good reviews...

congrats to you guys too!! Julie is 12-14 weeks. we were getting married next month anyways, but this gave us the push we needed. hell, im 27 shes 28 and weve been together over 7 years. it was time!

Dirtdawg'sRc/snakebite congats goes out to you also!!! I had a great experience with the fisher price ocean themed swing, the kids loved it and so did we!!! it was a bit expensive (as most things are when it comes to kids)@ $100, but well worth it. I've reffered and past it down twice to my neice & nefew and they too have been soothed by oceanic sounds and sights. Oh, do stock up on D cell batteries, this swing will drain them VERY FAST. that would be its only drawback. :blah:
