i like a lot of toe out on the front and a lot of toe in on the rear. Its a lot quicker taking off and steers a lot faster. Not the best setup for larger track but i mostly race it like that at like leisure or glitchers ect. Also its only 3 degrees out for the front and 3 degrees in on the rear. It will get tweeked a lot once i hit the track.

I'm at 1 1/2 out in front, and 2 in in back.
I'm sure with 3 in f/r you do have mass acceleration and awesome turning action

i want as much steering as i can get along with a lot of acceleration to clear jumps. I probly have it a bit to much but once i get comfortable on the track with a setup i dont really care were its at as long as i get good times or even get top spots. Thats all that really matters in racing, getting something that gets you around the track the fastest.

Wow man 3 degrees front toe-out. I liek running about 1 1/2 fron and about 2 1/2 rear toe in. having the rear roll center in the upper spots seems to help with steering also.
Shit looks tight Mich.

mich, you run 3 degrees toe out all the time? Even on loose dirt? LOL, I'm all over the place with too much toe out on loose tracks. I need some high bite action to even think of running that much toe out.

Like mich said though, it helps in the areas that benefits him for racing and getting better lap times. whatever makes you faster man! your gunna need it! j/k

i definatly hope i need it sunday. I want some good old fashion head to head racing were all the top guys are pretty close in times. Thats were all the best racing comes from. Anyone can be have a big lead and not mess up enough to cost the lead. Head to head is just A LOT MORE intense and fun at the same time.

Actually a lot of guys run 2-3 degrees of front toe-out on loose tracks with the Revo and 1.5-2 degrees of rear toe-in. I have all summer.
Come LH's high bite indoor track I run less toe-in and less camber so the truck will slide a little bit more instead of traction rolling. With the one-way up front this is the way to go. There's a slight possibility that I might not be going to Greenbay this weekend. If so, I'm out at Dave's!!!

I agree fully, I've waited for people during a race so we are closer

rich heres the pics of how i mounted my mbx5 tank
As you can see i also used a peice of carbon fiber to help mount the tank but it also doubles as something to hold my antenna. Worked out pretty nice.

CF and antenna's dont mix, watch out for interference....

really? Been running like that for over a quart of gas and my spektrum never had problems. Why does it make interference?
10-04-2005, 08:56 PM
I believe it was something to do with the graphite in the cf or something. Thats why they say to put shrink tubing on any part of an antenna that will cross cf. Not sure if it affects the spektrum band. Maybe someone else can chime in, because I cant remember where I read it, that is why no manufactures use CF to mount an antenna

i doubt it will effect the spektrum then cuz ive been running like that for a little while now with no signs of a glitch. Thanks for that tip tho il have to remember that.
10-04-2005, 09:12 PM
graphite and CF are no-no's with antenna wires. I'm like George though, not sure why but I know it does.
