Well? I know, electric MT's suck, but people run electric buggy right? Let's lighten one up and stuff a great brushless system in there and see what it does.
I look forward to the pictures and reviews.

electric MT's are awesome IMO. I wish there was a class of them at the race tracks.

I agree with you Tex! I enjoy driving my Revo, but at 9pm my Emaxx won't disturb any neighbors, requires no after run care or cleaning and with a good brushless system will have no problems running with the nitro trucks. I've even driven the Emaxx around inside the house before, try that with nitro.

Try to finish a 30 or 45 minute A-Main with your electric though!

Here's another one

I've seen a guy run an E-Maxx against the Revos at LH before. He did ok. He did do the battery swap thing.
It's just that electrics actually cost more than nitros. After you figure in all the chargers, batteries, com lathes, etc. they just aren't worth it. As long as we have a ventilated indoor track why bother with electrics?

Don't get me wrong, I'd much rather race my Revo than the Emaxx but I don't think electric MT's suck. My biggest like for electric MT's is bashin around in the backyard at night and nobody hears a thing.

I want to see Bruce finish a 30min main....without a pit stop. Everyone has to pit, just a batt swap would take longer. There is also quick release batt holders and it takes about 20 secs to do a Electric MT pit.....not too bad.

I wish nitro MT racing was so big that we would have to worry about "Saving the Planet" by racing electrics!!!
Tex, I had to pit 3 times in Dallas in a 30 min. main with the MBX5 tank. My Trinity tank will probably get me 12-13 mins. max with the motor/header/pipe I'm running. That's not a lot.
I guess an electric might be ok but I really don't bash. Maybe as a quick RC fix midweek...

Works good for that!
the newer batts that are out, the matched 3800mah, those will go over 10 mins without losing power I bet.
