I never really understood all of the differences between these two vehicles. I need some input please.
A buddy wants to get his T-Maxx back in action cuz his 10 year old son is running a 1/10th scale and it just plain sucks as a starter vehicle. Don't get me wrong, he has several trophies but the truck is a nightmare! One problem after another. Let the kid try the T-Maxx for racing.
The question: I have a spare pair of Cut Bowties on Hurricanes, how well will they fit on a T-Maxx?

They will fit, but the T-Maxx will have a really narrow stance because of the revo offset.

They will fit fine. If the kid tries to cut the wheel at speed it will tip over easier but if he brakes, then turns it should be fine. Plus it will have a tighter turning radius because of the offset.
Only thing to watch out for (because of the offset) is make sure to set the end points on the radio so the rims clear the a-arms/pivot balls

Squirrell, his dad is not the best at tuning and setting up suspensions either so this thing is a nightmare. It's mostly engine issues but also setup. Yeah, he'll still have engine issues until his dad learns how to tune. But at least the T-Maxx will handle better.
I drove it yesterday at the DD track and had fun! It was cool to see a bone stock Savage and T-Maxx out there racing side by side driven by two little kids (Rocco and my buddy's kid Shawn LOL!!!)
