Have a in perfect working order starter box up for trade for a 1/8th scale one....Mabye some cash on my part...We would probably trade no gel cell, but motors and box (because of weight) and so yeah, I got a new buggy and my friend has this box and it's a pain in the rear to get it lined up. LMK.

I think that is the only one where you cannot switch the wheel and motor to accomodate the different position

Stupid question:
Is there any starter box that will fit Revo and 1/8 buggy? I really don't want to carry 2 starter boxes with me when out bashing.

I wish myjeep, I wish.
lol, someday someone will come up with the great idea of doing that and how to do it. That's why I don't like having so many cars that require starter boxes. If I can have a pull start on it, I want it usally.

Oh well. I need to start save up for starter boxes then. I am thinking to get a P5 or Ws7II for my buggy and a TZ for Revo. In this case, the TZ going to be a pull-start version until I have the $ to get RD box.
P5 ???? WS7II ???? Very hard decision .... or 421b ???
Lol .. I need 1/8 starter box too. Anyone has it for cheap?
Sorry for hijacked the thread ..

i have one minus a battery and charger. 30 shipped if your interested. Its an ofna starter box with the blue bottom and chrome top. Everything works on it you just need to setup your truck to it and add a battery and your done. I dont own a buggy so its yours if you want it.

What kind of battery it runs on? 12v Gel? or 2x7.2 stick? I hate 12V gel because it took awhile to charge the dang thing.

gel cell for it. I like those better because they last a lot longer then stick packs. All you gotta do is charge it over night before your gonna go out and your done. For racing i get like 2-3 weekends on a single charge. And i drive at least an hour for racing so i have to have my stuff charged at all times. IMO stick packs would be good for a short burst of power but wont last as long as a gel cell from what ive seen.
