If i get a revo... AND THATS a B I G "IF" ... what trans gears you guys running?? The close ratio or the standard????

I'm running standard gears.

im running bone stock gearing through out my truck. Close will give you faster take offs but it just about is silent when it shifts so its hard to tune the shift point im told. Personally i never had a probly but most of the people do have trouble adjust shift point with close ratio. Standard is the best of both worlds for me. Plenty fast take offs and really decent top end.

Basically, on a small technical track, where quick acceleration is needed, the Close ratio gears are supposed to help, on large tracks, with long straights, the Wide ratio gears are supposed to give a little more top speed.

im actually thinking about leaving my gearing alone and just trying close ratio and adjusting it to have a later shift. Not sure if I should or just leave my truck alone.

rocco get the revo and il explain everything about the truck to ya and help you with setups. Its really easy and i can make it easy for you to understand(not saying your slow but i know the truck inside and out and forwards and backwards).
