Took me 3 hours to get home today !!!! I was stuck behind soccer moms in their SUV's and they wouldnt go any faster than 10MPH in a 50 !!!!!!!! Good way to get the blood flowing.

LOL, I broke my record for longest trip home today. 2 hours 15 minutes. Normally a 40-45 minute drive. It was terrible!

It seemed like all them were clueless how to drive. Yapping on the phone, 20 car lengths between them and the next car, and of course, sitting so close to the steering wheel you'd think they were chewing on it at stop lights.

Put it 4WD and let's go !!!!!!!!!!!!

I hate driving with other people on the streets in winter. No one know how to correct from a slide anymore either. If it starts sliding they just slam on the brakes!!! The US needs to go european with their liscenses. Charge people a buttload and actually teach them to drive...

It's aggrevating to see people in hummers driving slower that RWD cars!

I bought new tires today to replace the slicks i was spinning!!! LOL !!! Toyo proxes 4 ... They seem nice... All season high performance... Which is nice, i used to have to sets of tires, high pro summer tires and the snow tires... I gave up on that chit!!!

My 20 min ride (8 miles) was 1hr 45 mins!!!

Its agrivating passing people in 4wd's in a RWD car. I hung around work until 8 just because I didn't want to sit in traffic for 3 hours. ended up wiht a 1.5hr drive.

saw lots of cars abandonded on the sides of the road.. best part was a guy in a Nissian 350Z. He was driving like a complete idiot passing people like crazy, changing lanes constantly, and flashing his high beams to get p[eople to move and crap. yeah he ended up hammering into the back of a a semi truck that was parked on the side of the road.

It was pretty crazy.. the guy passed me on the left, crossed all three lanes into the far right lane to pass another car, cut back into the center lane. At that point he was up ahead a bit but it looked like he tried to cut back into the right lane while on the gas and the car pitched way sideways, he over corrected and the back whipped the other direction, and he ended up on the shoulder into the back of the semi. when I passed his car there was steam spewing out from under the mangled nose and the front end was stuck under the semi's bumper. Also he was actually in reverse tring to get unstuck!! lol! even if he did get that thing unstuck there would be no way he'd make it anyhwere. there was a lot of steam coiing from the hood of that car so he probably riped the radiator to shreads.

DAMN WHAT FUN DAY. It started to snow about 20 minutes before i left for work so i was really bummed cuz i didnt get off untill 10. Turns out that there was nothing to do today and we just had to wait for our load to show up in the semi from way out in elmhurst. Boss and another employee left early and all i did today when they left was get in my truck and do donuts in the parking lot and play outside. I got payed to play in the snow today. I left an hour early from work today because it never showed up and decided to go parking lot bashing. With 4wd i was going through snow piles that small 4x4 plows were making and tearing up in the unplowed snow parking lots. Getting crazy and racing around turns sideways and stuff and having a blast. Turns out i got payed to work 1 hour at work and payed to play for 6 hours outside. I literally burned a quarter of a tank in the parking lot at work today. I couldnt of been anymore excited. Just got home now and its midnight. Been playing outside since like 4 and i even went sleding for a brief period I was passing cops on my way home today. None of the street have even been plowed yet and its been snowing since like 1:30 by me. I was passing people in the snow filled right lanes and flipping off all these people in huge suv's, jeeps, hummers. I couldnt believe all these 4x4 trucks and big suv's could barely get up to 10 on a 45. Geez i wish people would learn how to drive in 6 inches of snow. Its really not that hard. I was even fishtailing down the street in 4wd and staying in my own lane. Road was empty when i tryed that of course but i didnt think i could do that. Geez what a fun day. Il probly be up all night tearing up parking lots and going through unplowed snow. THis was the best day ever

as for the driving tonight, i had a blast!!! me+rwd explorer=good times!!! i couldn't keep the thing straight, not because of the snow but because i couldn't keep my foot out of the oil pan!! went through a quarter tank in 10 miles!!! can't wait to get my older/new explorer out with 4wd and snow tires!

I did, except I lack the skill to shim them...

Rob I can help you with your diffs if you want. I also have a Predator with UE diffs if you remeber me. I can do those diffs with ease if you want my help. They are much like a real life truck differential in you need to set the pinion depth and the achieve the correct back lash in order for them to last.

You buy the shim kit and I'll set them up for you. Let me know.

That vid was awesome! There had to be at least a few deaths from the looks of a few of the accidents. Like that retard who opened his door and stuck his head out. Then get smashed in the face by a car going the opposite direction :eek:
