Sold on 1/1/06
For Sale:
Traxxas Revo, basically new: Panther Python tires on Traxxas Hurricane wheels. I’ve added the P2 rockers, red aluminum pushrods all around, and green and gold shock springs. I’ve added a rear spoiler, MBX5 bracket w/ Proline 1/8 wing. It comes with everything that came in the box new (LT rockers, tools, charger, extra filter elements, stock Tx, etc). Included are the stock wheels and tires. The truck is nearly stock. The engine has only about 10 full tanks through it on 30% Byrons. It was broken in via Traxxas’s recommended heat cycle method. It’s never been raced, and never crashed. I bought it about 3 months ago. It’ll make a great gift for the holidays.
$300.00
I may be willing to trade for some servos, spektrum, engines, batteries, etc.
PM for more info
EDIT: Here are some pics as I've finally got my cam back. Sorry about the low quality, my ftp ran out of space. See how clean!

trade for EB modded Novarossi P5 and OS2050 one piece pipe/header????? Comes with like new mugen 3-shoe carbon clutch, .9 springs. Very tight pinch still with 2 gallons threw the motor. Pipe/header is in good shape. I get over 10 minutes of runtime with a 125cc tank with this motor/pipe setup.
I am confident you could get 8+ more gallons out of this motor if you keep it tuned right. It has never flamed out on me during a race, ever. I've always used hot standard plugs and 30% nitro.
LMK if this sounds like something you want to do. I was contemplating selling my motor for $225 and my pipe/header for $60 which equals $285. I will throw in some other goodies if need be. I have a GP1100 RX pack that puts out killer power and I have some other misc. things

Hey Dave, I'll throw in a Air359 to sweeten the deal, that's a $115 dollar servo.
So....pipe/header, EBp5, Air359, GP1100 RX pack.
Doesn't hurt to try...hehe

OMG, I'm getting tempted here.
ANother Q: If I put a stock, new piston and sleeve in that engine, is it going to run like the stock one?
Got any more pics of the engine? Would you happen to have an extra spektrum receiver or a raytec IR thermometer or a high speed digital servo lying around?
You said you'd be confident getting 8+ gallons more through the motor. I've never heard of that sort of lifetime. Has anyone else here had that sort of lifetime in their P5, or any mill for that matter?

You can get a lot of life out of almost any motor. If you keep it tuned right and maintained properly at leat. My friend has gotten something like 9 gallons out of his OS RG and it just now is needing a rebuild. We have gotten 7 out of a 2.5 before as well...

I have a raytec gun without the lazer, it works the same as the lazer unit.
I have a Futaba 9451 120oz @ .10secs (My favorite servo)
I have no extra spektrum receivers as I haven't made the jump to spektrum yet
I don't have anymore pics of the motor handy, what exactly do you want to see on it and I'll try to explain it the best I can. It's a very clean motor, it's never leaked anywhere and it's not sealed up or anything with RTV. Very clean.
I don't understand why you keep referencing a new piston/sleeve, this motor has MASS amounts of life left in it. Like 1-2 years depending on how much gas you use every season. I have no idea what the effects would be if you install a new p/s. I'm guessing the piston/sleeve would need to be port matched with the block.
After re-thinking all this, I could make alot more than $300 if I sell my items separate. I'm tedor-tottering on the edge right now, I may just sell the items separate and buy your revo with cash if you still have it.

8 gallons on one of my P5's and still running strong. Retired it because I had a big race coming up. P5's are great motors.
Gabe, if you selling, pm me dude. Interested in you know what. =)
