Making a k2 into truggy?
#1
What would I need to make my k2 into a decent truggy? I know I'd need a longer chassis, wider arms, and bigger motor, but where would I get these? Thanks.

for the price to make it a truggy you can just buy a real truggy like the lsp or crt. Even if you do make it into a truggy it still wont be as competitive as a real truggy. I would suggest just buying a lsp or crt. Save that k2 for a buggy.

I believe JT racing makes a truggy conversion, and I think if you use the hot bodies ring and pinion gears it will give u the correct gear ratio

Talk to george (CEMEB4DK) or John (Dentguy92) they both had tricked out k2 truggs. They even made a kit so that gearing is right!!! Talk to them i KNOW they could hook you up with info and maybe you could pick up there conversion kit

I still have the conversions for the gearing.

It includes a 40tooth spur gear a rear carbon fiber radio tray, and upper diff brace (need new radio tray and uppr diff brace due to larger spur) and also 4 body posts.

The k2 makes a decent truggy. I added the Native suspension kit on mine to give it the long arms, but I bet you can get the hotbodies lsp arms on with some modding.

You will also need to get ofna 17mm MT wheels. They will fit the standard k2 hexes and all maxx tires will fit them.

Let me know if I can be any help.

I will post some pics of mine.

a little because of the hub spacer. But I would bet that the lsp arms can easily be adapted to fit. Since a good friend is using native k2 arms on his lsp. I wonder if he would be willing to sell his native aluminum arms
