sh1nn3r, I was wondering where you were. It sucks to break or have problems when it's time to race, especially after a long wait. I've had it happen on many occasions. Very frustrating.
dave, the MT main was the last race. We finished just after 8pm.

Thanks John! So just a half day at the track (8am-8pm). And with 12 entries did all 12 run at the same time for qualifying during the heats. And how many went to the Main?
Sorry for all the ????

No half a day for me, lol. With racing starting at 11am, I didn't even bother coming that early. I came around 9:45ish.
There were more MT's at the beginning. Around 14 or 15 I think, so during qualifying we were split into 2 races. For the main, there was only 10 or 11 of us left, so we all got put into 1 main.

With the days lasting that long I wonder if they should cut down the number of qualifiers?

thenewguy821 Wrote:Sorry to hear about the missing glow ignitor. Like everyone said, it was probably picked up by mistake. One of the other guys here forgot a set of new tires, and they were turned in.
Bio, I'm the guy who sold Dan the Cen for his daughter, I forgot you were coming with him, or I would have said hello also.

RCDad, did you leave before the races started Sunday? I may have been sitting next to you. I kinda recall a guy with his son next to me with a truck. I thought I might have seen "RCDad" written across the body, but I was too busy wrenching. I planned on introducing myself later, but next thing I knew, the mystery man and his son were gone.
It's not a bad idea getting some t-shirts or stickers made. I have two t-shirt shops locally that I deal with for different work-related projects. I also have a graphics guy who can do stickers. He usually gives me a pretty good deal on them. The stickers would probably be "printed" on vinyl. The ink holds up pretty decent depending on where you put the stickers. I haven't done a fuel test yet to see how they hold up, but they can't be any worse than some of the major manufacturers' promotional stickers that they include with their product sometimes. I had one of my paint company logos on my wing for the last year, and never had a problem with it. Once a design/logo is agreed to, I'd be willing to head up the sticker project. I can also run the design past my t-shirt shops and get pricing, along with whoever else has contacts, and we can go from there.

I'm not sure who was sitting next to me, I said hi to the guy sitting across from me. During the time I was out marshalling the place really filled up. When I came back those three girls had a seperate table setup and everything.
I'm thinking about doing the same thing with my boys, bring some extra chairs and a table. I'll try it once and see if they can behave.
