Ever since the Bears management said about a month ago no one outside of Illinois could buy tickets (which they later changed) all the people I know from Indiana have been very upset.
I mean, die hard Bears fans were VERY upset.

I just found out where our seats are going to be for the Game Sunday....
FIRST ROW at the South Endzone..... :joy:

Nice. Have you ever been to a Bear's game? If not, it is cool at the beginning becuase they have jets fly over the field from the south to the north. I was there in the south end zone about half way up for a pre-season game and in the southwest corner about half way up also.

I've only been to one other Bears game, back when I was my son's age... We were WAY up in the 300 series seats then. I'm looking forward to being so close to the action....

Maybe you will have the chance of getting a missed field goal, or if they can't get the net up.

Michowski Wrote:brakes? what are these "brakes" that you speak of? Brakes are the things on the back of the car in front of you that help you slow down at the end of the straights... LOL

Bears games are fun! I have been to two games in the last two years. There is not a bad seat in the house. I was at the game versus the Texans that was the coldest game ever played at soldier, it was like -14ยบ with wind chill, my beer froze before I got to my seat. Good thing I had a little flask of cognac with me

thenewguy821 Wrote:Brakes are the things ....that slow down at the end of the straights... LOL I though those were BLOCKS, not brakes.

Quote:I though those were BLOCKS, not brakes. I see your confusion... BLOCKS are the ones that flip your car/truck or break parts, causing your vehicle to completely stop.... LOL

Let's see if I got this...
Brakes = Gradual, controlled stop Blocks = Immediate, brutal stop Gotcha!! Thanks! Next question....that little round thingy on the radio that you hold with the right hand (for me anyway), what's that do?
01-13-2006, 01:24 PM
That helps you to avoid hitting the blocks!
01-13-2006, 01:25 PM
But I thought that was brakes !!!! STOP CONFUSING ME !!!!! That's it, I'm switching to a 2 stick radio.....

Tune's sig is perfect for this conversation.... LMAO

This is why I have the STUDENT DRIVER stickers on the truck. Look out for it.....
01-13-2006, 01:34 PM
I still want to mount a body backwards and drive on the track. lol
Actually, the first trip down to StL, I had the Chevy SSR body on my Maxx. I was put back on the track a couple times backwards. (The SSR body backwards almost looks like an old Thunderbird)

I saw a truck with a VW bug shell....you can't tell front and back on it either.
01-13-2006, 05:09 PM
I'm thinking about it Sunday also. Anyone in/around Waukegan need a ride?
01-14-2006, 02:17 AM
