I noticed Ultimate Hobbies has it up on their site, Towers still says late Jan.
I don't know....$600 is a lot....I could buy an LST2 for that much.

For those interested, I'll have carbon fiber hop ups available about 2 weeks after the truck hits the streets.

Hellfire looks to be one bad truck. Looks like the followed X-ray's idea of having eccentric bushing for toe adjustment. I like the fact the it has more adjustments than the LSP.
Can't wait to hear some reviews on it once people start running them at the track.

I think I would rather get a Hellfire also. That thing is awesome. I heard some people are having problems with their LST2.

To me the Hellfire is just another truggy. It's nice that it can accomodate a larger engine though.
Personally I think I'd rather have an LST2 but I have like zero room for more RC's right now.

LST2 issues from what I've read are drive cups coming loose (no locktite), clutch shoes wearing kind of quick and some issues with Spektrum going into failsafe mode from all the juice the LST's servo's draw.

Gotta agree with Rocco. I think the LST2 is going to be a bomb that's going to cost a fortune to be competitive.
Correspondingly, while my opinion on the HPI Savage is well documented, I actually respect it's durability. I think the HPI guys have done their homework and come up with a truly respectable truggy with the Hellfire. I'm anxious to see this at the track.

I ended up getting rid of my LST2 before even running it. It looked like a nice truck and all, but I was having a problem with the amount of $$ I just dumped on buying it. Not to mention the M11 and spektrum, so off it went. I know a lot of people say it costs so much because of the radio gear, but I didn't need a second XS3 sitting around and with the market on XS3's flooded there was no way to recoop that cash by selling it. I'll just focus on my Revo for now and put that $$ from the LST2 towards something else at a later time, maybe even a Hellfire.

Anyway, I'm happy with the truggy I have. I mean, sure, I'd love to have the Hellfire but I'm not sure it's worth my while to spend that much for a 2nd truggy.
I'm thinking I may buy those Aggressor S tires though. The body I like also.

Who?? Does RCDad have a GS too?? J/W because I just got one. Seeing that it is more of a basher/fun track truggy I am selling it. If I decide to start racing truggies I will go with the LSP or Hellfire (depending on reviews when people start running it). And that is because there is no way I will afford the Kyosho truggy.

$649.00 seems a bit steep at amainhobbies. I have a Tower flyer that lists it for $589.99 with 30 bucks off for a total of $569.99.

Yeah... I would wait. I see them coming down from that a tad and I'm sure if you were to spend that you could at least support your local shop. I bet they will be near that price...

According to hobbypeople.net (their magazine ad) they say they are selling it for $539!!
Their web page says $619! I'd be pretty pissed if there was a bait and switch going on here of over $80.
I'll try calling them today. $539 is a pretty good deal.

Get your best price and then talk to me. I'll call my buddy at Rushrc and I should be able to get the FIRST person with cash in hand a great deal on a Hellfire.
