You guys are doing a great job promoting this race.
Any luck on getting a flyer made ? When will pre-registration start for this event ?

I say we should set the money at $50-$60 for all three days. only you pay the first day you get there and then bernie hands you like a pass so the next day you just go right in and are already payed for.

I live right down the street from Dubro and if you can get me a flyer asap I can stop by there shop and see if they can do anything. I stoped by there the other day and they seemed to be some nice people working there.

cemeb have you gotten r/c car action to sponser this yet?
if not then I think that wolud be a perfect way to get the flyer out and get people really started about this.

my lhs said they can help sponsor as far as door prizes and gift certificates are concerned. He just needs a flier and he said he'll do it.

this race is a real good idea..even thou i would not be racing in it i would still donate some money.....i could ask my brother that owns his own mechanics garage if he wants to help..
looking for something new to buy.... like a lst2 or something let me know what u got..................

OK, upon discussion today we have set the race time as follows;

ALL A-mains will be 30min

All B-mains will be 20min

All C-mains will be 10min

All other Mains Will be 7min

Fair is fair. (thanks Eddie)

Friday is practice day (Bernie will have to give an opening time to
verify)

Sat is Quals. From 8 to 9:45 is practice for the guys that could NOT
make it on friday ONLY.9:50 drivers meeting, 10 o'clock start for quals,
4 rounds of Qual pionts (depending on the turnout if its too large we
will change to 3 rounds of rocket rounds)

Sunday Race day 8:00am drivers meeting, 8:15 racing starts till done.

$50 per class.

Trophies:

All A-mains 1-10 B, C and D first through third

TQ trophies for all A-mains!


This is a CHARITY EVENT guys, ALL proceeds go to the American
Diabetes Association. We have many Sponsors for the event allready that
are donating many prizes for door givaways and Raffles, Magazine
coverage in RC Car Magazine (written by yours truly and Scott Cramer,
Inside RC might stop by also, and Media coverage is in the works.

I hope all you guys can make it, It will be a great show and a great
time for a great cause. This race means alot to me and to many others, I
honestly can't think of a better way than to be surrounded by friends,
doing what we all love to do, knowing in the back of my mind that we
have made a difference for many.

Thanks for all the offers to help.

right now we are still trying to secure sponsors and donations for door prizes and raffles. So as of right now the only help I can think of is the help promote. Where the local help will really be needed is on the race dates. Being ambassadors and helping out on track maintenance and all the little things that will need to get done.

*** there will be no website created for this race, all the information needed can be found here, the grid or LH forum.

**** As far as online registration as of right now that is not in the works. Pre registration may happen but not as of now.
