CVEC is great but illegal....
Don't get that exhaust. DUal tip and rear is a bad combo. Tekno EB48.4 HobbyWing XR8 Sanwa M12

For the T-Maxx (or other Maxx series trucks) I would suggest the THS curved pipe, or the RD Logics curved pipe. I had the RD Logics pipe on a stock 2.5 and it really woke up the engine. Brought out a LOT more bottom end, and a pretty good increase in top end as well.

its the one that looks like a banana therefore its called the nana pipe... ive seen it somewhere on here i think tex has one for sale. i hear that there great pipes

They are great pipes but VERY loud. Louder than the trinity pipe on a revo... by a lot. I think it breaks the sound level for a legal pipe but at LH I doubt they would say anything...

The THS curved pipe is nowhere near as loud as the Trinity pipe. It is louder than a stock pipe, but that is expected with a higher flow exhaust.
The pipes Tex has are the Sirio Big Bore pipe and the Fantom pipe. Both of them are great pipes as well. This is the THS pipe I was talking about: THS Curved Pipe for Max trucks The RD Logics pipe is the same pipe.

Oh... that isn't the one I am thinking of. The one I was thinking of had more of a curve to it (seriously looked like a banana) with the opening right in the middle of the curve. It also had a raw finish to it.... Can't remember the brand then.

That's the Ritter Banana pipe. It is quite loud. I think they were the first to make an exhaust for Nitro R/C made of Carbon Fiber (They also had a steel version). They originally started off as an exhaust manufacturer for 2-cycle dirt bike engines, and one of the guys had an R/C and decided to try to make a pipe for his truck...

Gotcha. Thanks... That was the one that I was thinking of. Gobs of power but deafiningly loud...
01-24-2006, 07:00 PM
yea thats the one i was thinking of

RD Logics Curved T-Maxx pipe is by far the best one I've found for the 2.5 if your plans include upgrading to a larger engine in the future it will handle a 18TM or TZ but if you go bigger than .18 I'd suggest the Sirio Big Bore or the RB version for the TM323

nah, i think im going to stay with the 2.5 for a while, cuz i dont want to have to go with cvds and different diffs

The THS and RD Logics pipe are the same thing. Either one will really wake up your truck.
