I am looking for a mid to high range pipe (most likely) as I have heard that the OS .21 VZ-B has a lot of low end power. This will be in my revo so I will have the header from the .21 conversion. If the pipe will fit out back that would be awesome. If not I will need the pipe and header and I will need to rig it up out the side like Gabe does... Let me know what you have and how much you would like for it. I can do partial trades with anything from my other thread as well...
Thanks,
Dan

All of the $25 pipes are right in my price range. The only stipulation is that if it will mount in the rear I won't need a header but if it needs to mount out the side I will need a header...
That said I know virtually nothing about pipes. As honestly as impartially as you guys can be what is the best bet to be matched with the OS .21 VZ-B??? And how soon can I get all of them... very interested...

I got a 2 for 1 with headers
The top end pipe needs a little weld/braze
The clean one is off the ST and was only used for break in and 1 race. The other is off my buggy and has some good long runs on it. $25 for both.

Well I can braze really well so that is a definite possibility. (I have a mountain bike fram that I brazed myself that is still rock solid) The JP-1 is enticing as is the RB pipe... I know nothing about the TTR one. I am still very unsure and am waiting for some guidance fro ma higher power. LoL... This is a harder decision than I thought... I epected one or two to get posted...

With a JP-1, you shouldnt have to worry about the stinger bending, but I dont know if they've been tested with hitting concrete from 20ft flips....You let us know :wavey:

I hate you. LoL Like I said if I had waited to se the affects of the tune before hitting it I wouldn't have had a problem as I landed a couple picture perfect ones earlier... I think this motor will have plenty of power. LoL
With the JP-1 can I run the pipe in back or do I need to run a header out the side buggy/gabe style??

Im pretty sure if your running a BB it needs to come down the side like Tex's. And I think youll need a header like in my first pic to clear the arms. Im not 100% tho so still ask around.

Hmmm... because in the traxxas BB conversion kit they give you a new header that looks like it moves the whole pipe to the motor side of the truck so that it will fit back there... I will need to see I guess... I will be getting the motor and conversion tomorrow I believe so I can check clearance on everything then....

TTR one is a good pipe i just started running the short one on my vspec and it really smoothed it out the best pipe on every OS is a 2050 a little more $$$ but u will never dent or brake it and it will give u the best power out of that motor. I havent had much experience with the other TTR pipe the long, which will give u more low end, but they are really durable from what i have seen, I would stay away from and 086 pipe it kills the fuel mileage

The only pipes that will fit in the rear are the Trinity and the RB TM/RV...they both are short pipes that will handle the flow of a .21 + engine. All of the pipe posted are 1/8th scale buggy pipes and will be too long to mount in back.

Dan the ttr pipe comes w/out a header so it sounds like that is what you want. I bought it from Joe torres on sunday, i decided i dont need it . Joe runs these pipes as does sonny O. Through all the club races they both attend joe assured me that they have YET to dent one of these pipes. . . .
Ill go out to my car and get it... Ill post a link to the pic in a minute

I sold him a like new pipe/header/gaskets/coupler for $10. Granted it's a RTR ofna pipe but it's all ready to go for a side mount application. I ran this pipe on my VZB and it had mad power believe it or not.
Hey Rocco, with the TTR pipe he would need a header correct?
