I am just finishing up my first gallon on my cv-rx with 20% trinity platinum fuel. I am undecided if I should switch to 30% or not.

If I understand this right you can mix 20% with 30% and get 25%. Obviously you do this in equal proportions. If I am wrong somebody please chime in.

I wouldnt mix fuels... Ive never heard of anyone doing that.....
Guys just run 30%!!!! I was hesitant at first tooo but im so happy i switched to 30%. I run a 24/7pro and it was tuned to run around 230 -240 on 20% odonnell. When i tried 30% with the same tune/setup and pipe. My truck was running 180-190!!!!!!!! The power increase is awesome, but thats not the only good thing i find engines are much easier to tune with 30% As long as you run a proper tune on the engine you will get the same life expectancy out of your engine

Jump to 30% and don't look back.. I did the gradual change. Started with 20%, later went to 30%, tried out a gallon of 35%, and finally found 40%. I haven't had to shim my cooling head, and have had nothing but good luck with the High Nitro.

Thanks mich... 40% White Lightning. I haven't done a rebuild yet. I've got a little over a gallon on this engine, and it was used when I got it. I put 3-4 gallons through the Sirio .21 before I sold it, and it still had TONS of compression left, and also had almost 4 gallons through the Mach .26 in the LST before that was sold.

White Lightning claims they did massive amounts of real motor running research on getting that blend right with the best lubricant package. It is supposed to be a great weekender race fuel without costing you a new motor every week, from all I've read.
