I know what you mean about that... it would just be nice to pick up and fill instead of having to flip the truck around. No doubt it looks like a tough entry...

My revo has enough steering to get into the pits
02-06-2006, 07:13 AM
Yeah, I could get into the pit pretty easily. Wheelies were the problem. Also, if you came off the back straight, and turned left and then left again, the tubing was moved so that you could drive str8 into the pits. That's what I did most of the time.

But isn't that shortcutting a big part of the track?
02-06-2006, 10:00 AM
For practice it's ok. But if you get caught trying to do that during a race, there would be alot of angry people, because that's cheating.
02-06-2006, 11:13 AM
yes it's cheating and I told the guy on the stand next to me that cause he was doing it.
desroy_my_revo, that kid with the t-maxx that was "all over" was 7 years old and in his first race.

Man this sucks... I feel like crap right now w/ migrane and I just ralphed a whole bag of chex mix. Note to everybody; If you're feeling sick, don't drink pepsi and eat chex mix. 1, it don't want to stay down, and 2, it doesn't even make pretty colors when it comes back. All nasty green and brown...

Same idea...and of course indoor nitro fume syndrome might compound the problem. So, why do they wear respirators around nitro fuel funny cars????
