oh, well that sounds ALOT better... I thought it was just the chassis... Looks really cool and I'm sure it'll make the truck lay down faster times.

That is really nice to finally have it, eh Bruce.
Are those the new shock towers that you were talking about?

Blackwolf, yes those are the new lowered shock towers. They are designed to allow one use a Mugen MSR type body but I'm using a Majestic LSP body and it fits nicely. The body sits like it should finally. Also, the suspension geometry is more like the LSP now.

not knocking your stuff but if you want to spend 250 bucks for your chassis and towers, plus the original cost of the truck to make it into an lsp why not just buy the lsp at a much lower cost then converting a foreign car into one? Seems a lot cheaper and more reliable since the truck already has proven itself on the track.

Ryan, the kit is for those who already own a Mayhem ST RTR and want to improve on it.

See that is what gets me. Why get the truck to upgrade it at that cost.
Like I mentioned before---that cost seems more understandable if it was custom made for 1 ride making it a one of a kind. I am with you on this.
I can't see any justification on spending this much. Even with what it comes with it is still very steep priced IMO.
Best thing to do is sell my truck and but the LSP.
Oh wait I think I will wait for the LOSI and SW one that is in testing. lol
You got a good thing going but I know you won't sell much at that cost.
To me I would think $150 tops is reasonable.
In anycase---no matter what upgrade is done to any RC ride it does not make the driver any better. Just the ride.

New tires made me a better driver...but that's got nothing to do with selling chassis parts for Bruce.
As volume goes up, prices can go down. Everything new has to have a starting price set. The market demand will determine if it is the right price-value point.
Maybe this thread will serve as market research for Bruce and his company. Valuable info.

I just looked at the site and realized that the girl who set up the site made a mistake. The price for the kit is $149 not $239! I have an email in to her to correct the price. Sorry for the confusion.
I just checked, she changed it.

Fishy???? LOL
the price was listed on here a few times.....
Things that majke you go hmmmmm...
Either way you'll prolly sell some at that price verses the first price.

I found another mistake! The site says you've been racing for 12 years, I think she accidentally put a 1 in front of the 2.

Spoke with Bill at BCE and he is almost in the production stage for a whole racing setup of parts for the hellfire as well. That includes chassis, towers, suspension pin holder, just to name a few. Aftermarket people waste no time in production now lol

they sure don't and the only thing that will separate you from the others is better quality or cool features no one has

Kev, That looks pretty thin and surely not the 3mm 24 ply CF mine is made of!
Try not hitting the wall so hard next time ok?
Tex, I'm not making my Cf plates out of the cheap 2mm 5 ply loose weave Cf like others. Mine are the less pretty Military Grade, but much stronger, 3mm 12 ply close weave CF with no useless shiny 1/16" clearcoat. Front shock towers are a ridiculous 1/4" thick 36 ply close weave CF! Serious overkill!!!

Vertigo uses close weave, the rest loose weave. Vertigo has the right idea. I use the same approach.
