A good organized library is the key my friend. 
Once done---you can go right to it and know what you have and do whatever.
Takes time.
Heck my porn collection I did the same thing---alphabatized and catagorized it all. Wife was po'd---LOL--still have them all too on CD--she don't know it.
For me Music is a hugh influential part of my life--I go where it goes and it goes where I go. I prefer it over the television.
